What is LINKS?

Leadership Institute for Nature, Kids, and Stewardship (LINKS) is a unique program that pairs elementary-age kids in community after-school programs with high-school volunteer mentors who have been trained in outdoor education, team-building, and mentorship skills.

LINKS provides an opportunity for high school students to work as mentors with 3rd – 6th grade youth. Every week is a new adventure: canoeing, fort building, playing games, and discovering the great outdoors!

We welcome applications from high school students who wish to participate in either our fall or spring sessions.

Schedule

Mandatory training is on October 9 from 3:30-5:30 pm.

Weekly meetings are on Thursdays from 3:30-5:15 pm starting October 23 to December 18.

No Meeting on Thursday November 27 (Thanksgiving)
