Nature Nuts
Tuesdays from 10 – 11am
Nature exploration comes naturally, especially for little kids! Children ages 1 to 4 (and an accompanying adult) join Montana Audubon teacher naturalists for guided outdoor play and learning about the local area. Weekly themes are posted below and on our calendar.

Weekend Wonders Family Programs
2nd Saturday of every month from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
These naturalist-led programs are designed for all ages of explorers. Every month features a different topic that will get you and your family outdoors, learning about the plants and animals in our big backyard. Monthly themes are posted below and on our calendar.

It’s Spring! Every Year is a new opportunity to sprout new ideas, creations and plant the seeds of pure potential. The ways we integrate this time into our lives weaves the entire year together. Some people think that the beginning of the year is in January. Mother Nature works differently, with her own rhythms and cycles. Spring is her beginning. The time for planting new seeds, tapping into new potentials and possibilities. For creating a life aligned with your truest values. Nature. Family. Foraging. Astrology. Weaving our own creation is what we will be exploring together in this gathering. As we wander around, explore & forage the beneficial sprouts Nature is offering at this time, we will learn respect and honor for the abundance & nourishment provided. Taking a Peek into the astrology that is flooding the skies, Then, together we will share a creative activity to weave together our day and set up the season with an artistic creation to be adorned for days to come. We hope you can come explore, learn, taste and share this special time of year with your families and community

Evening Exploration
1st Tuesday of the month from 4:30 pm-7:30 pm
Bring your friends and family down to the Center to celebrate the change of seasons in nature! Explore and enjoy the ponds, the wildlife and the changes in our plants as we move from winter to spring and spring to summer. Ask a naturalist your essential questions about animals and plants. Borrow field guides, insect nets, and binoculars. Or get in a canoe and explore the ponds with the setting sun. Choose your own adventure and enjoy this special time outside with your friends and family.
